Family + Motherhood
These session are about 1 hour long. Whether vou're interested in family portraits, a maternity or newborn photoshoot - you have several options to choose from. We can plan a session in the comfort of your home, organize a fun trip to the beach, forest or anywhere outside. A newborn shoot is ideally in the morning and very slow paced. A maternity or family shoot is ideally at sunset. This hour is curated to fit every families needs while capturing those images to print and hang around your home!
Mini Sessions
Mini sessions are just that! They are about 25 minutes long and perfect for short attention spans. I only offer these for one month in the spring and September-December. The locations are limited, but the experience is still specially curated for your families needs.
Wedding
Everyones special day in completely unique. This price is a base line for all day weddings (6-8 hours). But since everyones day is different, I have a questionnaire you can fill out so I can give you a custom quote. Also, please reach out for custom elopement pricing. It's always an honor to be along side of you to document a day you will look back on forever!
FAQ
How many pictures will we receive?
Typically you can expect an image per minute. So with a 25 minute mini session I say 25+ images. With an hour long session I say 60+ images. However, I overshoot and often over deliver.
How should we dress for our family session?
Depending on your session type and theme, we'll discuss some ideas for outfits and colors. Generally I recommend no neon colors, cheetah print, large wording or logos, or everyone too matchy matchy. That being said, theres a place for everything. Also, I offer a curated Pinterest board with lots of ideas.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
If we're talking about the sleepy newborn type of photos, the session needs to happen up to 4 weeks
after birth. Each stage has its pros and cons, but I consider newborn photoshoots anything 4 months and younger.
What if our house isn't photogenic?
Your house is your home, that's what makes It special and of sentimental value. You would also be surprised how beautiful it looks in the images. I promise, no one will see the pile of laundry to the side or dust on baseboards. Yet, if you feel more
comfortable in picking an outdoor location - we can.
We don't feel verv confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
Of course, no need to worry about that. Most people feel a bit anxious around the camera, and that's
completely normal. We're not used to having a professional camera pointing at us all the time. I have a couple of tricks up my sleeve that will help you
and your family loosen up, feel relaxed and completely forget about the camera. You'll be you, and I'll be
capturing your lovely family time.
What’s the best time to have a materity session?
I typically recommend somewhere between 32-37 weeks depending on how you're feeling. This also depends on what type of location you desire. In my opinion, nothing beats a fiery sunset maternity session with the ocean in back or an epic sea of dunes. If you wish for something like that, maybe closer to 32-35 weeks due to the physical requirements of walking.
